"Making Language Visible" is a series of typographic investigations, specifically using font “Univers”. This project focuses on how the arrangement of typography effects the message. Through these explorations, I gained insights on analyzing and dissecting content to recognize levels of descending information priorities (information hierarchy) and then manipulating the arrangement of letters, words and lines of text to strengthen the contents message. Furthermore, I found it to be a rewarding experience expressing creativity with a relatively limited set of parameters and progress to less constraints. I enjoyed developing solutions that maximize clarity and effectiveness of communication while producing considered compelling compositions.
